Course Description
The full-time Internship course covers the areas of listening, speaking, reading, writing and grammar.
The Internship is designed to give students work experience and improved language skills in a professional environment.
The placement will develop the learning of life skills such as team work, task completion, decision making, organisational skills, communication skills, confidence building etc.
This course leads to the TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication).
The students choose from 1 to 8 weeks of study followed by 4 to 12 weeks of work experience.
Students are expected to do homework as part of the course.
All course materials are provided and a student library is also available.
Students can also attend a weekly language clinic when studying in Bournemouth, free of charge, where they will get advice on any grammar, homework, etc.
Work Experience
Unpaid work experience in a professional environment
Hours and work are decided by the placement provider
Specific placements cannot be guaranteed, placements may be in any company or office.
It may be necessary to take a bus to the placement
Entry Requirements
Age 18 - 30
An Upper Intermediate level of English (B2 CEF)
Tuition
General English and specialised language for the work placement.
20 lessons / 15 hours per week
