Course Description

This course is for students who wish to study in Bournemouth for a minimum of 1 week and then do their choice of paid work experience for 12 to 52 weeks.
Paid work placements are in Oxford or surrounding area, Dorset, Hampshire, Cornwall, Devon or Surrey.
Students can choose the areas where they would prefer to work.
The syllabus includes practice in listening, speaking, reading, writing, grammar and specialised language for the hospitality & catering industry. Students are expected to do homework as part of the course.

Students can also attend a weekly language clinic when studying in Bournemouth, free of charge, where they will get advice on any grammar, homework, etc.

National Minimum Wage
Hours and type of work are decided by the placement provider
Accommodation is arranged by English 2000 or the placement provider
English 2000 will pay for the transfer from Bournemouth to the work placement location – this is included in the course fees, excluding all Bournemouth placements.
There are no fees for finding the work placement


Entry Requirements

Age 18 - 30
An Intermediate level of English (B1 CEF)
